Description

Attendees are required to have basic loop tools and a pumpkin to carve. The grocery store pumpkin carving kits are useless for this method. You’ll need clay loop tools. You can buy them here on Pumpkin Stuff or at most art-supply stores. With everything being virtual this year, you’ll need to order a basic tool kit in advance. Please allow one week for shipping.  Zoom links will be emailed to attendees upon receipt of payment.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR PUMPKIN: This style of pumpkin carving requires a pumpkin that has thick walls. You don’t want to cut all the way through, so you’ll need a pumpkin that’s heavy for its size. Pick it up and compare it to similar pumpkins. You want the heaviest. Also try to find a pumpkin with a thick, dark green stem. That means it’s freshly harvested and will stay fresh longer before its carved (once it’s carved, it’s gonna rot),
